How to form it:
The verb TO BE (in the present tense) + -ING form of a verb.
I am + walking
You are + walking
She is + walking
We are + walking
They are + walking
THE BIG PICTURE:Use the present continuous to stress the continuing nature of an action or activity. Examples: Mike is watching his favorite show on TV. The Smiths are looking for a new house.
The present continuous can also refer to a future event, when a day or time is mentioned. Examples: The book fair is opening on Monday. I’m attending college in the fall.
